The Worship Ministry at Pollock Pines Community Church is designed to bring God glory through praise and worship. Our desire is to lead people into the presence of the Lord to worship Him in spirit and in truth. When we experience freedom in worship we are able to express our heart to the Lord as we draw near to Him. Opportunities for involvement include:
INSTRUMENTALISTS
We are always looking for people who can play musical instruments. Opportunities include playing for preludes, choir, special music, worship teams, brass ensemble or orchestra.
AUDIO/VISUAL TECHNICIANS
Sound Technician: Sets up platform and runs sound system for worship services and special events. Some musical background preferred but not required. Training is provided.
Video Technician: Operates computer program providing words and graphics on overhead screens for services. Some basic computer knowledge is preferred. Specific training is provided.
Light Technician: Runs lights for worship services and special events. Training is provided.
Camera Technician: Films Saturday night and Sunday morning worship services. Training is provided.
Technicians serve on a rotating basis – 1-2 times a month.

CHOIR The choir is active from late August through July 4th each year. Rehearsal is every Wednesday night from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. and have occasional weekend rehearsals as needed. In addition to learning special anthems to share with the congregation, the choir is also a praise & worship choir and participates in leading worship 2 times a month in our Sunday Celebration Services. The choir shares special presentations for our Praise Celebration in November and for our Christmas, Easter and Patriotic services. The choir also participates in our Concert of Praise Series – nights of Praise & Worship music designed as an outreach to our community. Worship choir is open to high school age and adults. |
